Landie tipper fuel filler solution ?

Just interested in how others have sorted theirs?

 

Finally got the buck in place

 

First thought was find an old rear tub and cut out the fuel filler section, and make a basic bracket, seems a lot of hassle to find and hack up an old tub though.

 

Any cheap off the shelf solutions? bracket is no drama.

 

 

Also is that breather pipe really needed? Im guessing its just for pressure release when filling? Block it off?

 

Any pics of others would be good, my Tesco + freezer bag combo needs to go!

Hi Matt all we've done is use the original Filler onto a bracket coming off the tipper body then with the original filler cap on Hope this helps thanks John

Do not attach it to tipper body as the first time you tip you will pull pipe off:ohmy:

Best to come off chassis with a piece of angle steel and use filler neck jubilee clip it to angle do not make it to high as you will have fun filling it up at fuel station with out having to tip body up.:thumbup:
