Just interested in how others have sorted theirs?

Finally got the buck in place

First thought was find an old rear tub and cut out the fuel filler section, and make a basic bracket, seems a lot of hassle to find and hack up an old tub though.

Any cheap off the shelf solutions? bracket is no drama.

Also is that breather pipe really needed? Im guessing its just for pressure release when filling? Block it off?

Any pics of others would be good, my Tesco + freezer bag combo needs to go!

That would be ideal John but i sold the rear tub... As i say, hassle of getting another just to cut it up isn't worth it.

Hi MATT you need to go land Rover breakers to get the backplate and a filler cap then just come off for the bracket then just come off for the bracket off tipper frame thanks Jon

Hope this helps, it's just a tee shaped bar bolted to rear crossmember with a stainless steel jubilee clip holding the plastic filler neck to it, very solid and sturdy despite spending it life caked in mud

Do not attach it to tipper body as the first time you tip you will pull pipe off:ohmy:

Best to come off chassis with a piece of angle steel and use filler neck jubilee clip it to angle do not make it to high as you will have fun filling it up at fuel station with out having to tip body up.
