Waterproof jacket?

I came across this in a boutique in a Christian retreat/training facility. It's water proof, wind resistant and ultra light. I started using it for tree work (hasnt ripped, snagged, torn, damaged).

Last year I bought the Stihl water proofs and found that I got more wet inside them. Absolute pants they are.

Another jacket (soft shell) made by jack wolf skin is comfortable, light, fitted, water and wind proof. I just don't know how it would stand the rough environment in some trees.

I did have a look into some off shore yachting jacket made with some fascinating new material technologies. Maybe some of you have experience with these kind of areas and if they would be of any use in trees?
