That happened to my zig zag and my zillon. 6 months into use, Buxtons were more that helpful in replacing them instantly

No worries there Jamie,,, you can get it swapped for a brand new MK 3 with the stronger top link

Our Justo had the same thing happen and had a replacement straight away.

I'm almost hoping the same thing happens to me so I can get a Mk 3

Would I get an upgrade even after so long?? It was bought from northern arb supplies, does anyone still use theirs with a crack??

I have heard of someone using one with a crack but I definitely wouldn't recommend it.

 

Good news is you shouldn't have any problems getting a replacement Mk3

I think Skyhuck is still climbing on a Mk1.

 

I've seen a few of these with cracks, to be fair, its very unlikely the crack would be fatal but I know Petzl are very quick to replace.

Why don't they just beef them up with some decent steel?
