If a business shuts down selling a product there is a demand for,then a gap appears in the market for all to take advantage of.

 

If he has not replied to any enquiries for the last 8 months then I think you are seeing that there is a demand that he is not meeting,however his advertising is working hence the enquiries.

That has to be worth something. Getting customers is the most important thing imo.

if you do buy the business/goodwill make sure you get a no competition clause in the the contract regardless of whatever the bloke is saying about being not interested in getting back to treework

 

personally i would buy the gear (only if it is of good quality) and do my own website and advertising
