A quick one for you what size rope are you running on the zz?

I'm using 11.7mm Yale hedera. Very nice rope, and I was told it's the same as Yale bluetongue apart from colour which is a nice shade of green.

In reply to an earlier comment about sudden drops, I've had a a few when a branch or even I catch the top link. It just keeps you on your toes.

thats funny I found the two ropes very different - the blue tongue very squashy and although 11.7 it was a lot larger than that. I now have the hedera 11.7 and it is way better. Maybe something was wrong with the first blue tongue but it didnt self tend well at all. i was quite peed off after all the recommendations it had had.

Buy the ZigZag first....you may not want to use anything else once you've mastered it which could be after only a couple of climbs if you take to it....run it with a pulley saver and 11.7 blue tongue (other 11.7 ropes are available) and you will NEVER look back😎

I followed pauls advice and it has served me very well so far!

Great setup.
