Throttle cable went on husky 3120 yesterday, tried to remove trigger pins with no joy with punch and hammer so spent some time head scratching trying to workout how to warm it up. Landed up with soldering iron on the end of pin to warm it then hit with punch and hammer result.

Any one got other helpfull tips.

I usually grind the pointy end off a suitable nail and use this as a punch and hit with a small hammer - if it doesnt shift one way, try the other. It may just be a little rust holding it in

Do you even have to take the trigger out on the 3120? You don't on any of the other big husqvarnas. I find it easier just to take the handlebar off and undo the 3 av springs and pop out the handle infills which you need to do anyway to replace the cable.

Can't see how this would work on 3120xp as cable is attached to trigger and you just can not see in there anyway.
