hi guys

After another attempt to break in to my workshop,I've decided to invest in a wireless cctv, but i haven't a clue where to start, i dropped into Maplins and was looking a a system around £200 but sales rep informed me i would struggle to identify anyone as the image quality is crap, but he was kind enough to show me a system over £450. plus £200 to have it installed, Anyone know of or recommend a system that of a decent quality that doesn't cost the earth, recon i would only need two three camera at the most

beware of the swann systems that maplin sells, the cameras are very poor image quality.

I spent quite a bit on a four camera system with 9 channels and you can't tell registration numbers even if they are fairly close or faces, you certainly wouldn't be using them for identification purposes.

For the sort of dosh you are quoting the Swann system Maplin sell is pretty reliable, I used it a couple of times for real in the past year to find out which little scrote was slinging mud on my windows. It does what it says on the tin and is a DIY job, never managed to get the iphone link working though, I think you would need to be a network genius!!!!
