Does anyone know anything about this saw ie make model and what it might be worth. A friend has sent me these pics of her late fathers saw

Does she know if it runs as it would be interesting to hear if it did, I've got no idea what it is but I love it when old vintage stuff like this is still capable of doing the job it was built to do, I've got a Stihl 011 which bit the dust a few months back but I've got every intention of getting it back up and running if I can find the bits cheap enough as there's something about the look of that saw which just makes me wanna pick it up and cut stuff with it !...:thumbup1:

Looks a bit like the earlier Jobu chainsaw

 

Most of the older saws with the swing over bars to keep the carburetor upright

Had two handles most of the JOBU of that era had one handle behind
