This job is obviously out of Denzils' and your skill-set.

You can get straightforward advice from Mr Plogs.

Cheers for the great advice, I'm doing the job this weekend.

I've roped in my neighbours nephew to help.

He is a great lad, hasn't let the fact he only has one arm( lost it whilst cutting firewood and he took a fit), and walks with a limp after his ferret bit him, bother him,

He never complains but with his cleft lip, his lisp and his braces on his teeth, he's not great to understand at the best of times,

Already got other jobs lined up, this tree surgeon caper looks easy think i will go into it full time.

I will report back on Monday let you know how I get on.

I dont remember agreeing to help anyone this weekend!!!

I am sure I put in a price for this job was it the one surrounded by phone wires and electric cables .I wanted £20.36 per tree .The client even looked impressed when I said I would rehome the redkites that were nesting in the tree,I just needed to make them sleepy first with some special shotgun cartridges.

I'm thinking of getting out of the tree game, its just too cut throat going into the commercial mowing game pair of scissors in each hand £1.50 per acre ,it will be like having a licence to print money.

You sound like a shrewd fella.

Great idea on the commercial mowing:thumbup:

I've been working on my nail file stump grinding business for some years now.

Yet to turn a profit, but the concept's sound.

My sister company 'Mystic Logging' is struggling too. The basic premise is to will the trees over using only the power of the mind.

No luck yet strangely. I need a change in fortunes soon as I've invested heavily in a magic carpet skidder from Gullible & Sons and it's just sitting there not earning me money.

Remember a nice early start always makes a good impression. If I was you I'd be out there at 6am tomorrow morning. Just make sure the client knows you're there early by knocking on the door as soon as you get there with a couple of mugs in your hand.
