Bubble, bubble toil and..... kettles.

I've been looking for a good quality campfire kettle for boiling water, making cupsa tea. The one most people use is made from aluminium, which I dislike.

 

Just found this stainless steel one which looks rather p-o-s-h ...POSH! (made by Petromax). Petromax Tea Kettle

 

How do you boil yours?....

I saw a rather nifty solar kettle on a website the other day. It is based around a single solar thermal tube. You can boil eggs in it and everything. Not terribly good at night though, when I presume you have our campfires.

 

When its dark you could run off a solar powered torch ....:biggrin:

I'd worry about the F.I.T lead melting on the flames. :laugh1:
