Been looking at the 550xp.. I think I'm gonna go with that. Suits the budget and seems to be a good saw. I have not had a husqvarna saw, normally always in the stihl camp. But I'm gonna change it up being that no one has recommended a stihl equivalent on this thread... Can anyone tell me why? With good reason, not just because you say so!!!

I personally prefer the ms261 having had one stolen and now got a 550xp, found it nicer to use and felt more solid also had problems starting the 550 when its hot, but each to their own

Modern Stihl saws don't light people's fires, the 50-70cc range lacks that go that the Huskies have.
