Hi guys, Sorry if this has been asked a million times before. Interested to know how you store your climbing rope. Have worked with 3 climbers over the years - one coiled and hung his rope, the other had a rope bag and the other just a builders bucket. Can see the pros and cons of all 3, but wondered what others preferred. Cheers.

I started off coiling as well but a bag makes more sense. If you're only climbing a 20ft tree you just feed whatever rope you used back in. If you're coiling you have to do the whole rope from scratch

All my climbing kit fits on to one bag with backpack straps. Rope, silky, harness, lanyard (always on harness), small rigging pulleys, pulleysaver and various old hitch cord and baccy wrappers at the bottom.

Ex army kit bag holds my rope, lanyard, harness and other bits and bobs with room to spare. Only problem is that its NATO green, so if you cover it in brash you have to do a bit of searching to find it again!
