Hi looking for climber or groundie needed either freelance, full or part time work starting asap. We are located on the West Sussex/Surrey border, we are a well established firm operating in the Surrey and West Sussex area. Good rates of pay, experience not essental but must have all revelant tickets for either climber or groundie role. fair and valid point sky but, as always, the possibility to gain experience without a ticket just does not come by, period

Good point, I believe experience is far more important, but tickets seem to dictate. Most of the groundworkers I have had on a part-time basis have a lot more experience than those who say they are qualified. Not being negative, and think we have had a thread on this issue recently.

Me to if it were my way . I am finding the voluntering is such a great way to gain my skills I would recomend it to anyone new into Arb

even though it unpaid it just great to get exp with your saw with different types of work and get to use other types of equipment and different saws .

I agree but I'm prepared to take on someone who doesn't mind listening to what is said and gets on with the job. Yes experience is good but not always, sometimes they pick up bad habits on the way. With the staff I have had over this current year they just don't put the effect in, There not bothered you could wave a wad of money in front of there eyes and they still won't budge!
