I have a shell card, I pay 92.16p per litre plus vat, being vat reg helps.

So, inc. VAT, that works out at just under £1.11 per litre. Currently cheaper than the supermarkets (and as you say being VAT registered helps here.)

Do you have to purchase a min. amount over a certain time period to qualify for that price?

Sorry, just be nosey...inquisitive!

SHOCKINGLY, and assuming my calculations to be correct, through a combination of i) Fuel Duty, and ii) VAT, the Government take approx. 77p from every 114p per litre of fuel you buy = 67% of the cost = 2/3rds = an awful lot of our hard earned cash.

Wonder how long it'd take me to cycle to work...125 miles :confused1:

I've got the Texaco one at the moment as the nearest three petrol stations to me are Texaco.

This weeks price is 92.16ppl + VAT.

I have one card for each team leader and one for myself, most places are still old fashioned sign the receipt and I have never seen anyone check the signature. Security wise they ask what credit limit you want (monthly) and they say you are responsible for any fuel drawn on the card for 48 hours after you report it stolen.

The cards are limited to petrol and diesel only. The reason I have them is so the drivers can refuel when needed without me having to hand out cash or a company credit card.

The sooner they go to chip and pin the better.
