Split beech tree

Here's a job we did over the last couple of Saturdays.

 

We did it in two stages so the groundworkers at the golf course could clean up some of the debri in between the 2 Saturdays.

 

There's more to come after the first batch, so hang on!

Hey sorry about that sideways picture, I forgot to turn it around. I thought there were two more but there's actually just one more of the stump. Today had actually been the dry and sunny, and I was quite relieved that everything had gone to plan...no hiccups at all.

Great shots Reg,

 

She looks a big ole girl, why was she down for complete dismantle?

Was there no scope for leaving as a monitored monolith?

 

love the 7th & 8th ones where the big central section seems to be heading for the camera !

Did he brick it and step back, even at distance?

 

I didn't really have a say in why it was decided to bring the trunk down, another contracter won the job, he then asked me to do it for him.

 

My wife actually took the better pictures of the bunch, she was pretty safe.
