I suspect she hedges her bets and donates to a wide variety of charities and political parties, publicly and privately After all she has a lot of fans to keep happy.

Exactly. I think good old JKR deserves the money she's earned and she is well known for giving it away. Her mother dies of multiple sclerosis so they get a lot. She runs her own charitable foundation for kids. Good for her.

and all the talk about socialism. Well the evidence is that she is one. A Labour Party supporter and read her books. Full of anti-prejudice and anti-racist ideas.

Knocking snobs and toffs who look down on others. I think she is great.

 

She probably needs a hedge for the privacy because of the problems she has with the gutter press.
