anyone know the crack with removing the cat thing on the muffler? will it need a retune after? can you just whip that bit of the exhaust out and put it back together?

Hi

You will need to adjust carb, fairly sure it needs to be richer due to increased gas flow

whipped it out, was running at 12,800 rpm, so actually leaned it a bit. i might have tuned it a bit rich for run in though! seems louder and slighty better in cut

Nice one Bill at least the muffler comes apart easy

I've just put a 6100 clutch on my dolmar 420 Wes and a 3/8 sprocket rim with the bar and chain from a ps-3410th it runs sweet :thumbup:

Is that low pro? Must be a screamer now. I use it on my 241 w/18" bar a farmer gave me a while back. I find for the volume of firewood I do that low pro simply doesn't last long enough before needing sharpening. But is is handy for laurel, etc.

Your 5105 is on it's way to you this Monday. Sorry about the delay, it's been crazy here. I still think a carb rebuild would help her. But she seems to run fine most the time.
