My point actually isn't that it is slightly heavier than anything - but that any minor weigth saving vs. the 550xp is worthless, when you loose a lot of power, and it doesn't handle as well.

OK, but the 420sc can be obtained for around 350 euros making the 550xp a hell of a lot heavier on your wallet.

If thats all people are prepared to pay then its pointless comparing them.

I have said a couple of times already that it is a very good saw for the price.

.....

Hit a nerve? :001_rolleyes:

You're like a cracked record mate, same as you are on the American forum, aboristsite where they also tease you for having an issue with weight and defending Husqvarna over all else.

.....

No, but you and some others are misreading me on purpose, trying to make it look that way! :001_rolleyes:

I am no less critical to Husky, when they make something that I don't like - and they do.

Join a gym dude, if weight bothers you that much, maybe you should consider using electric saws..They're really feather weight and perfect for a chap with pipe cleaner arms

Have you not used a battery saw? They're heavier than a 35/40cc saw! For the guide at they pull, they weigh the same as a much bigger saw.

Hi ST

Please dont take it personally, it is after all an opinion, everyone is entitled to that.

Due to the diversity of the forum they're bound to be different.
