Try parking looking up a steep hill, and raise and lower the trailer a few times.Hopefully the ram port will be at the highest point and the air will be expelled.

Make sure your breather is clear.

Work the ram up and down a few times with the cap loose.

Crack the pipe at the highest point with no pressure applied.

Sometimes bubbles of air get suspended in the oil but given time they normally float to the surface and everything is as it was.

Because the ram cant be bead at the highest point you need to rely on the oil movement to purge the trapped air.

 

The trapped air will purge best if in small bubbles, load the tipper to get things moving with purpose then cycle the tipper a few times
