composite or steel toe cap? You may think twice!

Can I ask, purely out of curiosity, and for those who wear non safety capped boots; how do you "skirt" or deal with H&S regs?

 

Out here you don't come across H&S as much, if at all.

If I wear steel toe caps within an hour my ankles are crippled. I have broken and twisted my ankles on several occasions. I think the weight of the toe cap causes a lever effect on the ankle. Better that than loosing your toes. Shame they don't make a tough alloy toe cap. I assume the composite cap is plastic.

 

 

I think the Prabos boots have an aluminium toe cap. Now my Haix on the way out I'll be looking at getting a pair of these next (perhaps) has anyone tried them ?
