Monkey puzzle (history)

I don't normally post on here but just have a few pictures already on another thread. There was a monkey puzzle I removed maybe 9-10 years ago in the town centre where I live.

Picture of tree in the 50-60s

 

And one about 9 ish years ago (361 had been out about a year)

 

Nothing big....just history and yes it was dead and the few remaining branches were very painful....tree was 99.

Well due to the decay in the base when we took it down we counted 99 rings (give or take) been dead 2 years

 

Friend sent that photo a few weeks ago with a date of 1913 from some photo archive

 

Ive took them down at 25-30 years old (PAIN).....my point we only counted 99 ....must have been very dry and my point was I was just showing a old picture of a tree round her every one remembered and a old picture I had when I was younger!!!!
