Which small saw?

I'm after a new small/light saw, I like the idea of a husqvarna 560 with heated handles, but they are a bit noisey!

Are there any other recommendations? it doesn't necessarily have to be a pro saw. It'll just be used for the usual cutting up brash, small fells etc etc.

Been using the 461 for day to day stuff and its getting a bit heavy haha! either that or i'm getting week which is more than likely :blushing:

Dolmar 115 - ultimate reliability

Dolmar 5105 wasp of a tool

Dolmar 6100 - fastest accelerating 60cc er period - flippin nuts.

Echo CS620sx - beautiful beautiful saw

smaller echos down to 420 - simply will not let you down.

No "chips under the bonnet", simple solid woodsmans saws.

You can keep your Stihls and Huskies and iphones.

Nokia saws for me!

550 xpg, blows the 560 I had outta the water! Awesome saw!

Didn't know you could get heated handles on the 550!

Never brought a new husqvarna before though... new territory for me i've always had stihl purely for the reason i just like the feel of them, husqvarnas always seem a bit "plasticey" to me.. but thats just my opinion!

Think i'll have to try one first

Yep the 550xpg has heated handles, a great saw when it's a little colder to keep the blood in your hands.

550xpg relegated my 346xpg to the back of the shed in one day. Wouldn't be without the little thing now. I have mine on a 13" bar and its flys.

The Echo CS620Sx is the only one of the list i've tried. Its a great saw on a 20" bar. I did think the vibes were a high. Its a bit like a husky 365 slow and steady wins the race.

Sorry I don't agree with that, not slow and steady for me! A little overweight maybe but can almost keep up with stihl/husky 70cc saws buried in 18" wood! I have a 460 and a 372 and the 620 keeps them in the stable much times

Not so much slow in the cut just in the way it delivers the power. More torque than speed. I prefered the to the 620. Its a great saw don't get me wrong but i prefer the power delivery of the 576.
