Actually a guy once told me down the pub, if something isn't freely flowing, soak it in coffee for two nights over a full moon. This should help your problem.

I'll try that with my boss' chequebook!

I would suggest setting it up on your line and having a feel, you're not going to be able to tell much from turning it with a finger, trouble is now the idea is in your head it might be hard to shake the placebo but try and look past it, if you really don't like it, go back to what you're used to. Chances are it's probably fine but there's no point using kit you're not happy with.

About

Arbtalk.co.uk is a hub for the arboriculture industry in the UK.
If you're just starting out and you need business, equipment, tech or training support you're in the right place.  If you've done it, made it, got a van load of oily t-shirts and have decided to give something back by sharing your knowledge or wisdom,  then you're welcome too.
If you would like to contribute to making this industry more effective and safe then welcome.
Just like a living tree, it'll always be a work in progress.
Please have a look around, sign up, share and contribute the best you have.

See you inside.
