Call Charles at Arbrep Services. He can either repair it perfectly or do you a deal on a new machine.

Cheers matey . A new machine Would be lovely ! I thought I'd be in a better mood thismorning but in actual fact I think I'm more pissed off that it's probably a fault in the blade

It may pay to have a quick look at a few things that could have possibly caused the blades to fail. A worn or shouldered anvil will give a blade a battering as will too large a gap between blade and anvil. Also a walking flywheel if there is slop in the bearings.

Hi bob , the anvil was fine new six months ago along with new bearings, the flywheel has moved but I think this was because the blade failed and unbalanced it so I can't really thjnk of anything other than the blade , they too were pretty new and only had one sharpen off them ,

Yeh it's just one blade although the other Is damaged due to hitting the smashed one , the anvil is fine no damage other than the massive machete slice

any chance the flywheel has moved , cousing it to come in contact with the anvil, just thinking if they bolts wernt tight & the vibes have moved it,are oll the bearing ajusters in place as they should stop the wheel from mooving

I wont name and shame but when I have sent failed blade`s back for analysis and a refund they mysteriously disappear, this has happened twice over a period of time . The steel used is no secret and would be the same no matter who you buy them from, the difference comes from the hardening process and this is where I believe the problems lay. Why not send them to an independent lab for analysis, if it comes back as a faulty blade you will be able to seek reimbursement and damages.

Thing is if that was the case then there would be damage to the anvil but it looks fine ,but that did cross my mind il put a pick up of how for the rear bearing housing is away from the right hand bolt
