Online custom chain loops?

I need a couple of 59DL 16" 3/8 1.5mm chains. Stupid number of links!

 

Anybody know of any online loop maker-upperers?

 

Chainsawbars works out at around £25 for a loop inc postage which is a little rich for my blood...

 

 

I know - we are not the cheapest - but what to do? We stock x3 rolls of every chain that we sell at all times...

 

We have the largest range of chain ready to buy in Europe with chain types you will find no where else...

 

It is easy to buy both Custom loops as well as use the selectors...

 

We spent 25k on Stihl chain to see us through the Stihl online selling ban...

 

But there is a price to pay for the above and I'm afraid we will never be the cheapest or would look to be or could be given the choice and level of stock we carry.

Actually just looking at this for Oregon 73LPX we are £19.26 a loop if you bought x2 inc vat and postage - for the more expensive chains it would be £25...

 

 

Just had a look at chains direct and for same chain would be £15.50 a loop.

 

So yes it is more but not a million miles away. I have been thinking about reducing the prices on the custom chain selector for a while as it is a lot less work and maintenace than the selectors... so food for thought!

The service expediency and single point of contact are well worth the ticket price. I prefer that to trudging around the internet for hours looking to save the price of a pint.

Totally agree with Kevin keep on as you are Rob , your bar and chain selectors and stock is well priced you provide a brilliant helpful service and the amount of stock you carry it has too be priced right for that initial investment to be worth it

You can't compete for price hunters in any trade rob, wether it be selling chains or quoting domestic tree work. Keep on as you are mate

I have always found Chainsawbars to be an excellent shop providing superb service. I was in no way intending to imply anything other than that I am tight-fisted git!

I tried the search for chain for my 135 but it would not give me the option of 14" bar or 3/8" chain it says 13", 15" or 18" in .325.
