Well I'm rather excited as today I am getting to use the new 230 VTR, it looks a very well thought out machine and the tracks are massive! It's a beast. We have a big chestnut to reduce today so it will be good to see how it copes with the twist branches. More later:):)

Well we have got the job done early which is nice, part down to a good climber but also down to the fact that we could track the 230 very close to the brash pile and then just chuck everything straight in without and snedding, the odd bit had to be cut due to very Knarly unions but after a bit we could even put those through, as you get used to the hopper you can get but to go how you want them. I would honestly say that it's save a lot of messing about to get stuff to chip. It will save time on jobs and thus allowing me to earn more which helps. I'm doing a big oak later this week so will be interesting to see how she gets on with that, I think it will love it:)
