Its always interesting to see. As an example, I have several videos on my youtube channel, nothing particularly exciting but they all took a fair bit of editing as well as physical work etc.....but the one that has the most hits by far is a short clip cutting into chainsaw trousers that Bob took and put on my channel.

Hilarious comments by the armchair arborist masses of YouTube!! Apparently tree officers in the UK can fine you for using a top handle on the ground....

Ah, bless you. You seem to be a bit confused. No, I don't use one one the ground, and will stop someone doing so if there is a ground saw available. I was commenting on the rather far fetched view by someone on YouTube that a tree officer would fine someone for doing that. That's all.

Oh I see where your coming from...no I agree nothing to do with trees officers who would think that? obviously someone a bit green?

If you follow the YouTube link Steve Bullman posted in this thread, and have a read of the comments on his video, you will see some hilarious statements, some people arguing that the ms200 is electric, etc. Makes interesting reading...

I do . How can using a top handle on the ground be more dangerous than using it up a tree ?

Instead of ripping into the trousers whay not offer them up to a casual / home user who maybe cannot justify (cost wise) buying the correct PPE. Maybe well used but better than a pair of denims and a tee shirt?
