Can any one recommend any sprays to help with a woolly Aphid infestation on a customers apple trees ? Thanks in advance, Jay.

From our Agronomist;

Woolly Aphid is starting to become more obvious on trees. These are the breeding colonies, mainly on burrs and pruning cuts, and they will start to migrate onto branches over the next few weeks. Aphox (at high water volume and good temperatures) Gazelle or Mainmain are the main control options. Calypso is not particularly effective.

From what I can remember think this time of year is where you get the winged Aphids, so moving around more.

Why not try on of the soap based sprays. Spray to run of, ensuring you cover the undersides of leaves to. It only works on contact.

Aphox works well, and think its systemic to. Think it kills beneficial bugs though, but could be wrong
