What gloves for ripping out brambles?

Been using an old pair of welders gauntlets and after a couple of hours the gloves seams have blisterd my hands making the job less than enjoable. Got loads more to do so would be nice to have a a pair of comfy gloves for the rest. Need the backs protected as I have to wrap the brambles around my hand to get enough purchase to rip them out.

Funny you should say that Chris as thats how I did the last hour today but it's very cumsy trying not to pull out the wrong thing with fingures as thick as a drainpipe

We use these at work for all thorn and bramble clearance. Absolutely brilliant. We get them from Baca Safety in Northampton.

Did read about them but thought they might be a bit OTT for my use but would get them if they are supple enough form this sort of work. Would be great to have a pair of them come hedglaying season.
