It is removable, that's what the last picture is with the Two clips.

Daft as it sounds, if you can remove it and touch any of the rotating parts (like why!?!) It has to have an automatic interlocking interface.

Correct pete. In fact, the black and decker electric domestic shredders have the same feature, but it did not stop one of my old customers putting her hand up the exit chute to unblock it whlst the motor was running, with the obvious finger loss!

ive never needed a rotating spout, just move the chipper a few inches to the side, job done

Nice one! We put ours on the belt cover as that has to come off first on ours....
