I took an isc rope grab from a retired wire core flip line yesterday and put a 13mm 3m non wirecore rope inside it and it works flawlessly, just wondering if there is any H&S issues about it not being a wirecore

It's a bit old school now but works aswell as any of the new bits of kit:thumbup:

Slight derail, apologies! I've retired a rope grab as the little wire that goes from the body of the grab to the cam is frayed. The loler report said to replace the wire. Has anyone done this before? Can't quite see how its done.

Very small Allen key grub screws.

Ah, and is there a particular wire that needs to be used or would brake cable off a bike be ok? Looks to be a similar gauge

Yes any wire will do,just cut the barbs off.:001_rolleyes:

You will find some arb shops advertise the wire under spare parts.I would not expect anything else to pass loler.
