Does anyone here do any ammount of bracing? its something i enjoy doing but rarely do. most customers tend to turn their nose up at the price. Last tree i braced i used the Gefa system from treeworker and it works out more reasonable but its still a job to sell!

i've done about 4-5 in 17 years, last one was 2 years ago which was pointless as a landscraper had sold it to a customer but couldn't do it himself

I used to do a lot, mainly threaded stainless rod and 11mm steel cable. Most of mine were in tight forked Black pine and Macrocarpa. I installed about 200 of those stupid padded braces when I worked in sweden, they were a real money spinner for the company.

looks alot bulkier , never used it either done a lot of cobra though doin some next week.

from what i can see the guardian looks like it would make a better storm anchore brace as its set up in there promo photo on that page as opposed to a support brace wich is what i usually use the cobra for...ive worried in the past that some cobra would not be beefy enough to support a great sudden weight.
