  1. Right you are! The only attaboy I saw was Old Monkeys comment of nice shaping. I retract that. Thank you.
  2. I cant wrap my head around that..... here in the states any reputable arb would be called a hack for doing that to a tree. No offense intended, but i just cant figure out why its an accepted practice there. That is clearly a topped tree. Is there any reason the tree couldnt be left in its original(natural) form? and if not, wouldnt planting a more appropriate tree be a better approach? Correct me if im wrong but if that tree is left untouched for another 10 years, wouldnt it be as big or bigger than originally?, and wont it be loaded with epicomic at the heading cuts?, and wont the heading cuts be loaded with decay? Im sorry, but that is a topped tree. And Im shocked at all the attaboys given for it. Again, I mean no offense, Im just trying to see what you all see.
  3. Alright lets see if this works. http://www.vptree.com/images/MVI_0124.AVI I didnt upload to any vid sites because its hosted on my company website. For best viewing results, right click on the link and "save target as" into the file of your choice. Then open file and view with Windows Media Player. .....and mine is only 6 or 7 seconds long man I love that clip! Snap, crackle, pop!
  4. I have a top secret retreivable redirect I could share..... lemme see if I can dig up some pics.
  5. I came to the realization today that Im not entirely happy with my Treemotion harness. I like the fact that gear stowage is completly customizable, but aside from that, after climbing in it for several months now Im not overly impressed. It seems just another saddle. It isnt anymore comfortable than the butterfly IMO, and the Butterfly is much lighter and not quite so hot due to less material. I havent noticed any abnormal wear as mentioned at TB, and the lower set of lanyard dees, although it looks good on paper, dont really fit my style. I rarely use them. I dont like the small side d rings (if youd call them d's). And one other issue I had which only happened once (while on the ground thankfully).... the buckle release buttons are potentially dangerous. While wearing the harness on the ground I bent over to pick something up from the ground, the waist buckle got pinched between my stomach and groin area and fully released from the pressure exerted. The waist buckle completly opened up on me, which was a bit scary. What if i had been 60' up a tree and bent over in the same manner? Other TM user please be mindful of this potential hazard. Any others not so impressed with it or am I the only one? Considered that my Treemotion review.
  6. I lack the proper equipment to get my jobs done as quickly as Id like. Probably the reason I havent run out of work
