Ebay scam.

I won Posch splitmaster 20T on ebay, I was pretty sure it was a scam from the replies I'd had to enquires.

 

Sure enough, he was happy for me to collect, but wanted transferred funds before collection as he "did not want to handle cash", yeah right

 

I offered a bankers draft or transfer at the time of collect, obviously heard nothing since

 

Googled the mobile number he gave me, as expect comes up as associated with ebay scams.

Its been on ebay and gumtree quite a few times.

Tried to buy it off gumtree last year, and got the same "did not want to handle cash"

 

I thought it might be the Queen, she isnt keen on handling cash, so iam led to believe

Fyi, Caledonian Forestry had a second hand Posch splitter for sale recently.

Don't think it was on an axle, but might be worth a phone call if your in the market.
