hi all,

 

im currently looking at options on upgrading our sawmill. has anyone a rough idea of the cost to ship something like this?

Where i work we ship in approx. 2 containers a month from Canada to UK at a cost of roughly 2.2k, using UPS. Thats including all the customs fees, and lorry costs from the port to our premises as well. It migh be worth giving them a call.

 

Apparently DHL are pretty reasonable as well.

Hi we use this company to ship from the states all the time it's called bsc Essex freight 0114 2435722 ask for Dave Alcock very helpful good rates they will will help with paper work

Cant find it now (on the phone app) but Big J got all that sorted when he bought his mill.

2.5K is a number that springs to mind but I may have made it up?

 

I think it was about £2500, but we did have a poor exchange rate.
