Does anyone one know the rough unladen weight of an iveco daily 65c17 with a steel bodied tipper?

 

I can find the weight of a chassis cab but dont know how much the body would add to this

3.5t,there about depending on body fitted

It all depends on the thickness of the steel, how much was used, the supports etc. If its a retro fit then it'll be hard to estimate the weight. The best way would be to take it to a public weigh bridge (as the comment above).

Normally on these it's the maximum vehicle weight minus 400 Kgs (300 for driver, passenger and three chainsaws, 100 payload) I believe?

 

 

Which is why the dual mass flywheel was invented. Stops you putting any real weight on the truck. They were only really designed to run unladen.

The iveco 6.5ton tipper with steel body and toolbox weighed 3.3 tons on our local weigh bridge now weighs 3.6 ton with tools and aluminium chip body can carry 2.9ton legally ours is a single cab
