not entirely sure.

 

I'd imagine 30's/40's :thumbup1:

 

 

 

 

Can't tell if this is the same plane or not from Grosvenor square.

 

The square lay out looks to have changed since the etching was taken.

Found these. Two limes locally. First pic is a tinted photo from 1905.

They look like big trees even back then.

 

Interesting in that I wouldn't have thought (looking at google shot) that they are old limes.

They did look big trees. They're certainly big limes now. Looking at the shots I wasn't sure they were the same trees but if they weren't then that would date the present trees as 100ish years old. These old shots are fascinating.

That brings back memories, David. I used to drive past that every night when I worked in the Sportsman casino at Bryanston Street. :001_smile:

 

Was that when you did the method stuff before shooting 'croupier' ?
