Hi Jon . I would of thought 8 to 10 foot apart should be about right any less and it's gonna cost you a fortune. One decent size trough would be enough

Are you using horse net or plain wire or electric .

Post and rail depends on rail length, so normally 6ft.

Netting we normally do 3m. It's about 1.2m high.

Barbed wire a good idea but most customers think their horses are too delicate!
