Thanks @Mick Jones yes well it seems that it is not out of the realms of possibilities that the push rods can bend with out something being terminally wrong. 

 

Well it was my wife who was tractoring prior to it breaking god knows what she was about, well mucking out without the rear weigh on- makes it a hard job with out the weight as there is already too much weight on the front end.
