Hi all

Anyone know of the name of the doodas that keep ton sacks open for ease of filling?

Or where i can order such a thing?

Would make life that bit easier :biggrin:

I think fuelwood.co.uk sell the dooda's your on about

I did check just after the apf on a price on them and they were very pricey.

So I spend couple of hours and knocked summit up out of scrap we had laying about. :thumbup1:

That looks good mate, was thinking something a little more portable for taking to gardens.

Some kind of plastic frame around the top that would just support the empty bag and keep it open till it gets a bit of stuff in it and supports itself. (if that makes sense) :)

someone posted a pic a while back using the blue plastic water pipe threaded thru the loops formed into a circle, not sure what they improvised to hold the ends to close the circle, maybe drilling and something velcro, or just mole grips

That sounds like a bit of a plan, I have a heap of 15mm plastic water pipe here and speedfit quick connectors.

Could just use a speedfit fitting to join it! nice one will try that tomorrow :laugh1:

Put your feet in the bottom two loops and tie the other two round your waiste and throw rubbish in between your legs works a treat on hedge cuttings.

 

Or fold the bag over on itself on all four sides it will support itself then
