went to fit some fresh blades this afternoon, & found each blade had a crack in a simlar place ,thought they were sap stains @ till i tryed to clean them ,that could have been an expencive repair.

these were aftermarket blades never had blades crack before ,:thumbdown::thumbdown:

I've heard this about non genuine blades, apparently they are not made from as high quality steel that has been tempered/processed or whatever. Buy cheap, buy twice.

Got to disagree there Hodge, the aftermarket ones I buy (I won't mention their name) are made from the same udderholm steel as the originals.

I always buy aftermarket, have done for many years, never a single problem.
