I was talking to the Petzl rep at the apf and she said they know how we treat our gear better than we do our selves and these are tested beyond belief.maybe by the time the zig zag mk20 comes out they might have it right eh. It's not good when crackes are appearing when it hasn't even took a shock load, Think it would probably fall to pieces it it did.

Ha ha, I guess we'll be waiting for the mk4 then. I think the zigzag is pretty good evidence that for all their brilliant stuff, Petzl don't have a clue about trees...

They do make nice paper weights though.

It looks like a casting mark , the kind you get when the mold is not fully up to temp and you get a " cold weld " line as the material chills off befor its filled the mold .
