If a tree is tpod you apply to work on it via an tpo app form.

If its conservation area you can just email notifying them what you are going to do. They will either notify you to say its ok or if not they may tpo the tree.

Also the tpo app or notification goes to the agent. So not necessarily the home owner unless they notified or applied.

Not in my area, you have to fill in an application to carry out the work in the CA.

No you don't, it's the same form but you are issuing notice of intent, the only way they can stop you is by placing a tpo on the tree

Me either. I put it in my quote, apply for permission and attend a meeting on site if needed.

I'm not on about them stopping me I'm saying that my LA say you have to fill out an application of intent not just send an email saying that you are wanting to do the work.

Yes that's the same in most places, the 4 councils I deal with won't accept a quick email saying your going to do it it's always a form.

According to the Arb assoc website which is also my belief, you can write, email or use the Tpo application form.

As long as all the information is included, that is in the TPO app. I don't think they can refuse it as a 211 notification.

I think la's push its use, because everything needed is then included.
