i think you will be the dafty scanning for bombs tomorrow david with your size 10 boots...it does sound inviting though, 10hours in typhoon cutting scrub in a mine field. oooooooooooooooooooooo its sooooooooooooooooooo tempting:sneaky2::001_tt1:

I have size eleven boots but I will not be using these as my method of pre scanning the area before the bomb company comes in.... If any sparks arise from my chain I will know to move quickly and rapidly behind the nearest chip pile.:001_tongue:

nope, felled and snedded about 140 on my own and had 3 chipping (only small trees mind 6 to 12 inch) proving I'm obviously too hasty to get extra staff in sometimes :001_unsure:

was it for the pipline that Murphy are doind, the east - west linkway thingy? Thats cuasing havoc on the east lancs that thing :)

yeah been on there for a few months, its not the pipeline causing the havoc (Murphy) any road in the way is being tunnelled under, all the problems are another utility firm not sure what work their doing.

we had the murphy lads near us last year and you can hardly tell where the pipeline is now apart from the new fencing where the road crossing points were, considering the size of the trench they were digging and the equipment that was moving around.
