ms260/261 or other options?

I'm considering buying a 260/261, but I would like to hear your opinion on these and other potential options.

 

Let me know your thoughts and help me decide.

I have a 261 and its spot on used it to fell 3o conifers the other day and didn't miss a beat as said earlier the fuel tank is to small though

For porting, a 346 is a better starting point than a 550 - but maybe not if both are kept stock.

 

Agreed on the porting of a 346 . Spud did mine way back ( one of his first after his own ) and it is a missile . Runs an 8 pin on a 15" .325 full ch .
