You need a diamond disk! Either Saturn machine knives or few sell them on ebay

We re sharpen in situ with an angle grinder with diamond wheel.

 

Diamond coated vanity blade / Abtec4Abrasives

 

And I have just found, and used, these guys for grinder teeth at a very reasonable rate. Really nice to deal with, and very efficient.

Sharpen often, and replace teeth when they get too worn down(25% of face of carbide tip), this really effects performance.

 

Make sure the leading edge/tungsten tip is proud (and sharp!) of the holder behind

 

Just to add: we have a 1000w power convertor in the truck (if there is no client in) and a 50m extension lead to sharpen on site

I ended up getting 60 teeth (the vermeer pro teeth) and discount was really good, especially when you compare them to other peoples prices!

the prices on that web site are bloody good I used to import my teeth direct in from the states and they weren't anything like as good as that.
