Saw this van with a new left hand door, 300m leylandi hedge, culminating in a very foolish mistake with my hedge cutter. finnished the job,got home then dressed the wound, first time I have been bitten by one of these, my fault, tired, going for completion on the day,and a wee bit complacent, what a plonker!

Looks like it has cut some flaps for you :001_smile:

Them Steri-strips will do the trick, they are awesome, going to get me some in my first aid pack.

I did a hedgetrimmer cut on my knee on Monday, bled like hell, in fact I've had that many injuries in the last month I've depleted my first aid kit.

Looks Nasty geoff, watch for secondary infection mate, keep it clean

Fixed it up myself, cant be doing with waiting in hospital, those steristrip things are good,if they dont hold going to try those 'breath rite ' nose strips, wont stop me snoring, but if they stick to a greasy nose they should do the job on me arm. bloody foolish thing to do with a hedge trimmer.:blushing:

the one handed shot from the cherry picker says it all, ouch!!i hate the 2 sided hedge cutters, i only work woth the single blade hand held ones, i find them easier to use on your wrists and arms and 50%less chance of cutting yourself..hope it heals quick jeff..easy done at the end of a long day
