Saw three of these on A1 at Newcastle on Thursday afternoon going south running empty and then this morning saw 4 plus a few trailers being pulled by civilian tractor units going north but loaded with what looked like Fv432 carriers. The Oshkosh tractor unit looks very impressive and very mean on the road.

My mate has seen quite a few recently and his 15 year daughter asked why they were green. "Because they are army vehicles so they're camouflaged," he replied. "Uuuughh, well the flashing beacons are a bit of a give away!!" she replied!

Looks businesslike.

Saw slightly smaller version pulling a marching fuel tanker near bury st Edmunds last week, looks like quality robust equipment. Why can't more civilian machinery (pick ups, tractors, cars) be offered in this simple solid style!?
