Having a special moment!

Does the pinto need the spacer in it? Maybe the ball would fit without?

Could just carve the ball a bit smaller instead?

The spacer is there to stop the Sirius prussik squeezing the cheeks of the pulley together under load. I wouldn't recommend removing it.

Yup that spacer is vital. There should be a clip on the end of your pulley saver...make sure you set your anchor in an open crotch to ensure it retrieves okay (so it doesn't jam). Practice with care. Descending on a ZigZag using a pulley can be very quick indeed. Enjoy!

I don't understand, what's not right about it? It's exactly the same as mine same retrievable cone and it does go through the pinto and get caught on the thimble!

It's the newer model of the pulleySAVER silky, they don't have that clip on anymore as the were going up in to the pinto rig and scoring the pulley wheel. The new pulley save has a small pinto now!

Ah ok so the other prussik is the retrieval shakle?

But the retrieval ball doesn't fit through the pulley ?

It definitely will ;)

The wee retrive ball won't go through the pulley.

There's an option to have a large pulley so I think it's the ball from that kit
